The SRSI team is delighted to announce the promotion of Daniel Kent to Director of Software Solutions as of June 15th, 2021. Dan joined the SRSI team in November of 2020 as a Senior Project Manager and spent a great deal of his time overseeing ongoing projects across Canada and the U.S. We are eager to watch Dan grow in his new position and continue to serve the Material Handling Industry as a part of the top, fastest-growing integrators in the market.
Dan will manage all software projects and oversee the SRSI WMS specialists in his new role. He will also become a liaison between SRSI and our major software partner, JASCI. Establishing consistent and effective communication between these two teams will heighten the partnership and ultimately customers’ experiences. When asked about his experience with software, Dan mentioned he has played every role, from WMS Specialist, project sponsor, executive project sponsor, to having installed WMS and ERP systems from multiple vendors all as a customer.
“I’m most excited to shift more towards the software side because that’s really where my interests align,” notes Dan. “I enjoy solving problems and making systems work for customers.” He also added that strengthening the relationship and communication with our software partner allows us to better deliver full turnkey solutions. Dan says, “SRSI stands out amongst other integrators because of our team’s experience. All of our internal experience sets the bar above any other integrator.” His new role will help bring more opportunities to our customers and we could not be more excited.
